The Lactic Acid Peel
One of the most common, medical-grade peels around today, the Lactic Acid peel is a milder treatment, which helps to tighten the skin, while reducing the appearance of superficial blemishes, scars, wrinkles and fine lines.
A common AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid), the Lactic Acid Peel is derived from milk, meaning there is a small possibility of allergic reactions, therefore it is important to make us aware of any allergies you might have. This is the perfect “first-time” peel for an individual with either oily or dry skin. As well as those with more sensitive skin or darker toned skin.

Glycolic Acid Peel
A deeper-penetrating alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) peel, that reaches the skin’s inner “action” layer known as the dermis. This allows the acid to stimulate the production of vital skincare proteins known as collagen and elastin – which are depleted by aging. With these compounds the process of cellular turnover is vastly increased, helping to resurface the outer layer of dull, dead skin cells, and replace them with fresh, new youthful skin cells. One of the most popular acne treatment methods, salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that penetrates only slightly past the skin’s surface. Salicylic acid is known for its antibacterial properties, and its ability to act as a strong chemical exfoliant – as a result, it is effective at drying active acne, helping to prevent future acne, and other skin issues.
Works great for patients with oily, acne-prone skin, and clogged pores. The acid is known to react with surface oils along the skin, allowing it to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin through the pores.

Cornelia was great! Very relaxing facial. There is only one treatment room, so you wait outside before your appointment. The room felt clean, peaceful, and private. She asked me what I wanted out of the facial, walked me through what she was going to do, and then let me enjoy and relax in quiet during the facial. At the end of the treatment she gave me some tips for my skin and said she would be happy to recommend some products they sell, but was not pushy at all about selling things to me, which is always appreciated!
