Oily skin – the bane of my life for most of my childhood up until i was about 30. Dealing with oily skin can be tricky but it can be controlled. I know people don’t always agree but stopping overloading the skin with excess moisturisers can go a long way to stopping this. Oily skin has its own moisture – and lots of it – so adding more isn’t necessary. If you want to moisturise your skin – use serums as these are less emollient. Milk of magnesium is great for controlling oily skin. Worn as a face mask, rinsed off – can stop oily skin for hours and hours and hours. For VERY oily skin it can be left on, then foundation applied over. BE WARNED – milk of magnesium can be drying – so you don’t want to go too far with this – let you skin be your guide. I found that many dermatologist also recommend milk of magnesium for controlling oily skin And lots of shine control products also have this in the ingredient list. Wayne

HOW TO: APPLY CONCEALER

This is my favorite way to apply concealer. Really its more about “highlighting” than concealing – but at the same time – it does the job of both. I love when the centre of the face is “glows” and i achieve this with concealer. Because i’m going to blend with foundation i’m able to use a concealer that is much much lighter than the persons skin tone. THIS TECHNIQUE IS ALSO BRILLIANT FOR WOMEN OF COLOUR – BUT ITS APPLIED SLIGHTLY DIFFERENTLY AND THAT WILL BE UPLOADED NEXT TIME. When the concealer and foundation blend together the areas that i’ve “highlighted” or “concealed” standout out subtle more – making the face seem more dimensional. You’reBeautiful!

You are beautiful, ignore anyone that is too blind to see that. It annoys me SO much when I hear people make fun of others for having acne. That’s not right at all. You making fun of them will be stuck in their head nonstop everyday of their lives. Everyday that they look in the mirror, already disappointed in how they look, your hateful remarks will just come to mind and make it even worse. Acne isn’t just something that you can get rid of instantly, we don’t choose to have bad skin. Trust me, if we could choose clear skin, we would. I’ve suffered with bad acne for several years and the hurtful words said, truly do get to a person and could even make them want to end their lives because they feel that they’re not even beautiful enough to be seen by people. Oh and don’t tell a person with acne to “BUY PROACTIV” or some other stupid, rude comment because most likely they’ve already tried every product there is and you being the person who has never went through bad acne has no clue what you’re talking about and shouldn’t be talking.
